Before launching this Blog, I did a little Google search on both newslet and newslets.  At that time I found no indication that the word had been used before.  The only places where newslet occurred was in subdirectory names, obviously as a short form of newsletters.  However this morning, I have found two other websites where the word Newslet is used to mean a short News item.
