Knowing you, Barry, I sure that SMM (the Montreal one) has always been open and thoughtful about the possibilities of social networking. I also suspect that industry support around SMM (the marketing one) is only just catching up. :)

That brings up a good point, that you should always check the competition for your name when deciding it. I'm sure "international blog marketing" would be a good keyphrase to rank well for, but better luck next time if you're trying for the acronym.
