While I agree that SEM and SMM are huge factors for the future, I still can't help but wonder if it's the right thing to do. Look at how Facebook Beacon turned out. People balked about their privacy and they didn't want in their face ads.

But for those who wanted it, is that what we've come down to - profit from our friends? In principle it sounds good, it's "word of mouth" but how many people will use that as an excuse and exploit their friends?

That sounds like a very interesting trade show. Innovative I am sure. I am New at all this IM so it is nice to read from someone who has extensive experience and knowledge. I appreciate your comments and articles.
